My sons school just canceled all sports for two weeks. A kid tested positive. Be interesting to see if we have a fall football season now. One less place to wear a mask in the fall if so.

Any hospital stat you see is showing they are prepared. How would you like to see 90 to 100% at capacity. That would be reassuring wouldn't it? Some industries actually plan ahead for a crisis instead of just react. Oil tries to but they still F it up somehow at times costing billions....

No... Granted I have worn one twice since February. Those were consults for my boy's surgery. I have seen more people be hurt by this than get infected. I am at peace and if I catch it so be it. I will not be scared my whole life.

Honestly tell the hospitals to shove it. Pretty sure they are telling the gov what to do. Otherwise no one would worry about it. I don't run a hospital though. Some slept at a Holiday Inn last night though. I do my job and you do yours.

Made a quick trip to my new HEB this morning. Couldn't enter without a mask.

My son and I wore ours at albertson's this morning. 80% were too.

I have one time - annual checkup at doctor and they required it. Many differing opinions on wearing one - but all these homemade masks IMO are actually worthless and may cause a higher rate of infection.

There goes my trip to the hill country next week. Third trip canceled this year!

Tom Thumb had a guy sitting on a stool that wouldn't let anyone in without a mask. You could buy one for a dollar if you didn't have one. There were no scenes of customer outrage and all of the shopping carts were where they were supposed to be. Managed to get milk and coffee without incident.

It takes all of about 10 minutes watching people with masks pull them off, touch their nasty mask, touch their nose, touch their face and the proceed to touch everything else around them to know they are worthless...

Wipe down/disinfect surfaces, wash your hands, keep your distance

Move on!

I know folks have their reasons for not wearing masks, but this lady is a lot of cards short of a full deck!

There are some really great looking leather steampunk masks patterns on one of the leather makers group. I was going to make some for the grandkids, but with summer here they are too hot to wear. Probably kick a few out in August for them.
