Was going to meet a friend today and try out Sullivans BBQ in Lewisville instead wound up at the Fat Cow off of Valley Ridge and I35. For the price it was pretty good, not 407 BBQ good but good.

1 Meat plate two sides and a roll $11.50 , two meats $12.50

I had the sliced Brisket, Jalapeno Sausage, Baked Beans, Green Beans with a roll for $12.50, at 407 BBQ that would cost $19.75 which is $7.25 more.
In all fairness not sure if the portion sizes are the same but it was plenty for this old fat White Boy

Brisket had good flavor and was fairly tender and moist, jalapeno Sausage was pretty darn good, Green beans were okay good, baked beans good.
I also tried one of his smoked stuffed Jalapenos and it was really good, since I was the first one there he gave me a big taste of his pulled Pork which was also very good.

For the price it is good BBQ and I will go there again. If someone said hey Stub I want to buy you BBQ for lunch wherever you want to go, I would pick 407 or Pecan Lodge.

They were better about 7 years ago before the bbq craze

I have eaten at 407 twice both times sandwiches and both times awful darn good. I have not tried the plates yet and I will do that ASAP and the pictures of 407 compared to what I had certainly lends credence to the old saying you get what you pay for. Like I said the fat cow was good for the price and from the pictures of 407's it looks awful darn good and well worth the extra $
