Who's been and can offer some must do's and great eats. Would like snorkeling, spots, boat access only beaches, maybe a good fishing guide. Second week of August.

My in-laws like that place I’ll ask my F-I-L when he gets up.
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

Its been years but I fished that area when I lived in New Orleans.

I went last year after a hunting trip. Stayed whole time at JW Marriott.
I wasn’t impressed with island, it’s very built out.
From a Marriott stand point JW Hill country is 10x better IMO

Took family 2003, took grandma as well. Kids were small, my wife and I did a backwater jet ski tour, that was cool. But if I went back, I would for sure do a guided snook fishing trip in the back water. Its a cool fish.
