Loved mine when it worked! A few friends have also purchased them and most of us have had similar problems getting them to link after we changed the batteries or stopped sending pics about the same time a few months ago. They are now just regular game cameras for a few of us. We contacted customer service, followed their instructions for re-booting, firmware update, etc.and still won't link to satellite. Hopefully they get the bugs worked out, and one day our cameras work again. Was nice getting pictures on your phone when they worked. I understand Coverts are the best and will be moving to one of those next. For now sticking with the old school way of pulling chips.

There were 3 of us that have tried different cameras in the search to find the best one. We had the same issues w/ SpyPoint.
I can't remember what wasn't liked about the Coverts but our synopsis was the Ridgetec camera was the best. This season all 3 of us will be running Ridgetec.
Good luck and sorry you were bit by the SpyPoint bug.

Over the last 3 yrs weve accumulated 6 spypoint cameras. The ones with good signal 3 bars and up seem to work flawlessly the one with 1 or 2 bars work good sending pics untill spypoint does one of their over the air updates, then they stop communicating. Usually we pull those and take to the top of the hill ( 4 bars) pull batteries, sd card ( delete, reformat, and reinstall software) and even remove and reinstall the sims card turn on and leave in the yard for an hour or so to test. This usually works for us,but on rare occasions I have had to bring back with me to have on hand to call customer service on monday.

Spypoint (insert model) is junk, tech help is even less dependable. If you are going to cut corners and save a buck, you had better learn how to self diagnose and get back to running.
If the camera is readily available, close to you, turn it off, pull the sd card, turn it back on and leave it for 30 minutes, it will force the camera to communicate with the servers and the servers to respond, when you get your next batch image, turn it back off, reinstall the sd card, restart the camera, walk away and pray.

There is a lot of history with the Spypoint problems on these forums. Just do a search and read about all of the problems. I posted some of my problems as well.
