This has to be the worst run on ammo I've ever seen.

I can’t imagine with all the lawlessness and mayhem You’re a noticer.

I can’t imagine with all the lawlessness and mayhem You’re a noticer. I've been to this and at least one other store multiple times over the past couple of weeks and the shelves were never as bare at they were yesterday (Sunday). No question the early weekend crowd cleaned up most of what was left.

In Wichita fall academy, even most the shot gun ammo was gone. Even the $20-30 heavy steel and black clouds were cleaned up tHis past Saturday. Have noticed apartently no one around here has 6.5. That’s about all they was on the shelves.

The first time I saw a similar situation was in January 2010.
I only serious started shooting around 2007-8 (a little after college). Up to that point, I bought ammo as I was going to shoot. For those who don't remember, 2009 was the backlash to the world's greatest firearms salesman, Obama. I traveled for work for the almost all of 2009 and when I came back home the shelves were virtually wiped out! I swore that would never happen to me again. Hasn't since.
When it comes to non-perishable dry goods that I know I will eventually use, I always buy based solely on price. I buy it when it's cheap regardless of planned use. This applies to everything from ammo (including reloading supplies) to household products.
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

I was in Springfield Mo the other day. I was in the outlet bass pro shop store. They had a ton of different sizes of steel shot ammo and rifle ammo marked down. I looked at the rifle ammo stuff. 308 300 rum 300wn 416 rem 458 and other calibers too. 470 nitro almost all barnes ammo. Some was in Sig ammo. 470 nitro was 65.00.

Ammo? Hell, I bought 2 cases of toilet paper recently.
I have always been overstocked on handloading components.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

I agree - it’s right down ridiculous

Hold on tight - the "October surprise" panic is still coming. Who didn't see this coming back in February/March? Marc
A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.
