My wife and I have been feeding this young lady since she was a fawn. We have nose prints on the glass.

That is cool. Had a friend with a yard doe that lived to 16+ years before she disappeared. We figure she walked off and died somewhere. How old is she now?

This doe is now raising twins, so usually twice a day I give her a cup of protein pellets. She, herself was a twin to a buck. The buck is just as gentle as she is. I feed him out of my hand almost every day. I posted a photo of him a few weeks back as he was developing some antler. I will post another photo of him in the next few days.

Does she have a favorite snack? There is not much they won't eat. I give them old apples, bananas, lettuce, vegetables out of the garden that I don't want, tostito chips, squash ends, and the daily protein pellets.

Reminds me of the mule deer in Ruidoso. They would eat anything out of your hand.

What happens to that bucks demeanor around rut time? The bucks seem to leave for weeks at a time when the rut starts. Last year he was just basically a spike with slight nub on one side. But he still showed up for a handout occasionally. The bucks usually seem a bit more cautious at that time.
