Tikka Hunter 6.5x55, 143 ELD-X and StaBall. I actually broke 2900 fps, but the group sizes sucked. It's hard to keep a group together anyway with a range full of muzzle brakes rattling my teeth constantly. I'll have to fine-tune the spot between 46 and 47 grains. A mule deer will die from this combo this year.

If you look at the 47 grain target, you'll see a .30 cal hole mixed in my group. That's because public range.

Why are you going to a public range? The first rounds fired at mine today, just happened 5 minutes ago. I'm waiting on a barrel to cool.

I thought you were chasing fishes in Alabammy.

Did you get a chance to run any of the 140 Amax across the chrony? I know the 4350 didn’t do well past that. Then again you’re running a slightly slower powder so who knows.

Not anymore. Even if I was, you can use my range to not put up with the B.S.

IIRC it was running around 2620.

The ones you included with the rifle. Loaded with H4350. Shot them over a Labradar. They were very accurate, but I dont think that H4350 was fast enough to get the velocity where he wanted it to be.

Good deal, I was looking back trying to find the old velocities but have yet to do so.

“It's hard to keep a group together anyway with a range full of muzzle brakes rattling my teeth constantly.”

Try it at Gun Experience of Texas, (new place in Grapevine), while some jerkrod is cranking out 50-100 rounds from a rented Gatling Gun next to you!
