Picked up Remington 700 5-R Gen 2 in 6.5 CM.
Gun has, HS Precison stock, Cerakote finish, threaded barrel, X-Mark Pro Trigger, Fluted Barrel, Extended bolt knob.
Was on sale for $799.00 and a $75.00 rebate, so with points, veteran discount and rebate I was out the door for $750.00.
Closest thing to an out of box long range package for under 1K.
A set of 30mm Tally rings and a Leupold Mark 4 Tactial scope and I'll be ringing steel or poking holes in critters.
I have one more profile left to add in my G7 Range finder.
I'm pretty happy.

Thanks for the info.

Also found out the action is stainless steel.

You're gonna love it...I have the exact same rifle and it shoots amazing! Midway had them on sale for that same price back in November and now they are $1019, so yeah you got a great price. Only thing I added was a TriggerTech and then took it down to 1.5 lbs. (I thought that might be to light, but took the advise of the employee with trigertech and it's awesome). Simple install as well. Congrats!
