Found this little gem of a thread on a collectors forum I visit. It was started by a guy from San Francisco. Hope yall don't mind but I offered us Texans to fund and build a border wall to keep them penned up over there if they can make it happen.

I see talk of secession all the time, but I can't see it working for anyone. If it could be done successfully, I think California and Texas would be the two states that could come closest to pulling it off. It sometimes feels good to talk about it, but it would be a huge disaster.
That being said, I absolutely support California doing it.

California needs to divide into two states and divide those electoral votes.

That thread was started on a national forum. Looking at the responses the other 49 states agree they should succeed. And since Kali wants to do it as well then for the first time in history it looks like we have a potential unanimous decision. PUT IT ON THE BALLOT!!!

Let them leave. I wonder if any of them calling for it have stopped to think that they would have to establish their own Navy to protect the coastline, would have to negotiate with the UN in regards to territorial limits into the ocean. Would have to provide their own security for 3 landlocked borders. Would have to negotiate their own trade laws etc... Something tells me they haven't.
