Many of the younger officers have come to me expressing that they are looking for other career options. If something doesn't change soon, the major cities won't have to dissolve their police departments. It will happen anyway.

Definitely justified, the cop will not be charged and that’ll light the fuse on the powder keg nationwide. We haven’t seen anything yet. If you live in Houston, Austin, San Antonio or the DFW area........I hope you’ve been practicing. It's a brand new world from a month ago. I bet the officer who shot him, is arrested for murder by tomorrow. He will be sacrificed.

But....but....but....it was only a taser he pointed at the officer. It's not like he could have incapacitated the officer with it and taken his firearm.

What I see happening due to the current events is the older officers that are at their retirement point or close are going to take it and get out. We are not going to have enough people to take their place or even fill the needs that are currently needed. This is going to leave departments without the needed veterans to be mentors to the new officers. In the worse case It’s going to allow people into law enforcement that shouldn’t be due to cities being at a critical point of needed officers and lowing standards. This has to stop, the race card has to stop being thrown out every time something happens or we will tear everything apart and so many innocent are going to be hurt.
I feel this country is very close to a point of no return and could get much worse before it gets better again.

Surely she knows that doesn’t end in death, but resisting/fighting and trying to shoot a cop with his own stun gun will result in death. Hard to believe this is America. Bet biden picks her for VP. Amazing that people are so anxious to get out their camera post something viral instead of help an officer.
Even the folks that helped the officer in Midland were filming before any action was taken, two people holding a phone.
One of the riots had about a dozen cameras held high as an officer was being attacked.
Reminds me of one of the shooters a while back (Dallas maybe?) where some knucklehead was filming the shooter with his phone instead of calling the police and letting them know where he was.
People will let someone die just to get a video, sick society. Reminds me of Nightcrawler

We have a Whataburger here in town. With few choices after Midnight, lots of people used to hit this place after the bars closed down. I recall a couple of incidents where people fell asleep in the drive through line. Each were arrested and none of them chose to fight the Po Po. They had some consequences to pay, but all are still living and the remembrance of that evening is nothing, but a lingering memory.

This is roughing the passer but with higher stakes.
Even since the roughing the passer call got sissified and defensive guys were getting called for anything, they started letting up. As they let up, you saw some QBs get free and "kill" the defense down the field.
It's a matter of time before a cop "let's up" because he doesn't want to be accused of brutality and it gets him killed.

It amazes me that people can watch that whole video and still call this POS a victim. It shouldn't amaze me at this point, but it does. This is what we're all up against - people who see everything on video from different angles and still won't come off of their BS narrative.

Justified, He'll get his job back with pay.....if he even wants to come back to such a city. I'm thinking this is why the police chief resigned, the mayor is prosecuting and convicting this officer without due process.

Make a arrest of a violent fellon and he is release hours later becuase he is black. The local "leaders" are IMO enabling this behavior for job security. The young man that killed the two sisters in college a couple months back should have never been on the street . He was wanted for murder and robbery. The kid that killed the lady sitting in her car , again , should of never been on the street. He was wanted for violent crimes. The list goes on and on. When that word goes through the street that the cops are not going to do anythihng this is what you get. Job security for some. Heck , look at the DPD cheif standing down for the looters and rioters. Sends a message , do what you want , these laws dont apply to you. No accountability.

If I were this cop, I'd lawyer up and collect my money. Then I'd go far and fast away from that place.
This is going to get worse before it gets better. It seems that white people no longer have any type of public recourse or ability to formulate an opinion, even if we agree. I was one of the first people to say that the officer in Minneapolis should be charged with murder, and I will be the first to say an officer needs to be charged if he did wrong. Unfortunately the other side will not be so quick to condemn a criminal of their race.
We are on the precipice of a major social event that will change the face of our country for several generations.
