Just started yesterday. Going to give it some time to settle
though not sure why, just a suggestion by someone I’ve been
talking with about it. Seems like a harmless way to use that last
pour from a bottle.
Anybody else done or considered this?

Almost like trying to make the whiskey you don’t like better with the whiskey you do like, but you are really just making the whiskey you do like, less likable but in a higher quantity and still drinkable.

Infinity bottle is a great idea for Bourbon, not so much for scotch

Mixing bourbons (whiskeys) is popular as some will dump there remaining ounces into a bottle to make what we called a "suicide" with sodas.
I once had someone tell me that you could mix Weller 12 and Weller 107 to make a great drink. My thought was "why would you want to change either?"
I have never been much of a mixer. Some claim they have had great luck with their concoctions.
I did ruin a great Sprite with some bad bourbon once.
