Looking at these two scopes. Will go on a featherweight 243. Leupold 3.5 x 10, Meopro 3 x 9. What say you? Thanks for your help!

I’m a giant Leupold fan. Of the two, I would get the Meopta.

Hawk, you may be defeating the idea of a light weight rifle with the Meopta. They are normally heavier than other scopes of the same range. If weight IS NOT a factor then the Meopta would be my choice also.

Thank you for the replies. Not worried about the weight. I've read good reviews of the meopta. Just curious as to what THF brethren think.

The Meopta Meopro 3x9x40 is equivalent to an older Zeiss conquest 3x9x40 mc, before Zeiss discontinued the 'mc' line & started using the "HD' & 'V' line conquests. The older conquests were made by Meopta. Very good scope & glass.
Actually the whole meo pro line is equivalent to older Zeiss conquest line.
The Leupold VX3i is the Meopro line direct competitor the difference is personal preference, look through both, pick the one you like best.
I'd be happy with either. I'd always give Leupold a very slight edge because of customer service & warranty.

Ended up with the meopro 3x9 for $349. Lucked into a promotional deal at a local shop.

I have both and the MeoPro glass is a little better to my eyes.
Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.

Good choice! Meopta will be slightly better glass for sure... It's made in Europe, while the Leupold is made in USA, I believe.
