Consider those fish dead. That’s too far of a haul.

I think with new rules they only bring 5 plus pounders in for weigh in. But yes that is a long haul

Pretty sure the last time it was on Conroe they had the weigh in at the Reliant/NRG Center, that is no quick drive either.

Can’t say I even know who fishes bass anymore after seeing them all go elsewhere a few years back.

Consider those fish dead. That’s too far of a haul. That time of year the fish will be fine. I look forward to it!

I will be there. Really want to see the expo more than the weigh in. They usually need people to drive the trucks and launch the boats so I may volunteer for that. To bad most of the big names moved on to other trails but still should be a great event. I have only been on Roberts twice when it first opened but its a big lake with big fish. Should be some big girls hitting the scales that time of year.

He is a complete idiot. Anyone that tries to jump into another anglers boat to escalate a verbal confrontation into a physical one is a complete idiot! I think he was charged in the incident as he should have been.

I'm a bit confused. I thought they did away with the old style conventional tourneys and have gone to the Major League Fishing format? No more weigh-ins. No more dead fish. There's a referee in the boat keeping track of each anglers pounds caught. I've watched several of those broadcast. Will RayBob tourney be that format or not?

Swampthang, nope. Those are the trails all the big names switched over to, including KVD, the greatest of all time imo. The regular “conventional” style tourney participants are chum compared to the rest that left.
Again, just my opinion. Keep in mind, I’m just a stupid frog

Whatever I saw the other day with referees in the boat was terrible.

Can’t say I even know who fishes bass anymore after seeing them all go elsewhere a few years back. Me neither, I really don't go for the guys fishing or even the weigh in. I'am more about the vendors there, the entertainment that is there, and chit chatting with fishing buddies I usually only see on the lake or during tournament times.

Not everybody likes that hippie crap Basically the old guys that knew their days were numbered started a trail We can call it the senior tour and kind of changed up some rules hoping that they could hold on a little bit longer but the old guys are still getting beat up pretty bad by the young guys anyways Kevin Van dam just needs to retire kind of like farve when he started switching teams It just made him look stupid, history will not look kindly on that move either. Not my 2 cents. But facts ole son.

Rick Clunn still fishes BASS and still shows the youngsters how it's done.
