I have been on a lease for three years now. I ussually just get something in writing but nothing fancy. I was just wondering if there was a good way to get one made. So that I dont get burned. Im really wanting one made for like 5-7 years if thats available. Any info would be great.

Here are a few, but not all are the same and you or the landowner can put in the contract what they want or do not want you to do, allow, take, etc. and for how long. Usually one is written up for the landowners discretiion and restrictions. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...+agr&aqi=g3

Unless you know the landowner on very good terms, I wouldn't count on having any long term contract for the amount of years you want.
A landowner will not want to be bound by a lease agreement for long term as it's his land, and things can change even with the owner such as health and other day to day events that could cause a lease to be terminated.
You can talk to the landowner and give your concerns, and ask for an agreement to protect yourself but it's up to him, and if you don't like what he says then it's time to move on!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
