Got it in trade last week. Its a Gen 2 6mm Creedmoor. Before shooting, I disassembled and took the bore to bare metal with Butches. Mounted up an Athlon 6-24 scope and threw on a bipod. WIth the trade I was given around 40 "handloads" as well as 2 boxes of Hornady Precision Hunter 103 ELD-X. I also picked up a box of 108 ELD-M while at the range to try. Took me a few rounds to get a decent zero and then I shot for groups. I do not know what I expected, but I am a little disappointed with the accuracy. I am sure I can chase the lands and load for it and do all that jazz, but I just dont know if its worth it at this point. Look at this crap. I would say this is an MOA rifle.

Second set of targets The groups are in no particular order because they all kinda shot like hot garbage.

Sure has been windy all week. Just my first thought, but if that was on an indoor range, then disregard.

I'm not one of the many experts on here when it come to precision shooting, but I wouldn't judge a gun's abilities on a day like today. The wind has gusty and inconsistent all day.

Doubt today’s wind will push around a bullet much at 100 yards. Clint, I’m guessing your pushing 3200+ FPS?....wind shouldn’t be a problem.

I seriously doubt it was the wind though. I zeroed 2 other AR15s while I was there today, and even my 10.5 inch SBR didnt get pushed around by the wind.

At 100 I wouldnt think those speedy little high BC bullets would be pushed around very much. They wouldn't. I had a head and a cross wind on Friday and still got a CTR to shoot sub half MOA at 200 yards. As far as this RPR, I got nothin. Dee has a lot more experience with the 6 Creed. I'm sure you picked the components already though.

Take the bipod off and try shooting it on a sand bag up front. Or something besides a bipod. Often times, a bipod will enhance stock to action mating issues and not allow a rifle to group well. Try it without the bipod. This is a chassis system rifle, and chassis systems have loose tolerances to allow it to fit in ALL rifles. I've seen it on multiple occasions that the chassis needs to be bedded or modified to shoot well with a bipod.

I guess if I cherry picked 3 or 4 of those groups I could call it that. lol I am hoping with some good handloads to get it to at least be consistently around 1/2 to 3/4. I got so spoiled by that tikka I screwed on that 260 barrel I got from Snake Oil . Dang thing was 1/2 moa or better.

How many rounds were on it when you got it?

How many rounds were on it when you got it? Unknown. Bore looked good though. I kinda think not many just due to the shape the gun was in when i got it.

Some tuned handloads may make all the difference. I obviously don’t know how heavy they are, but like you, I had a T3 Hunter that would easily out shoot it.

There were no unknown loads. I was given the load data for the handloads, and had on hand a box of Hornady precision hunter and a box of hornady precision match.

If you've got the time and the distance to ladder test it, I bet you'll find your load(s).
I've only got experience with 6.5 Creedmoor in the R.P.R. and they were 1/2-3/4 MOA shooters. In other words, right now my opinion of the R.P.R. is pretty high. And yes, Kyle did have a bad barrel, it shot quite bad. And a .308 shooting bad in this day and age is not something that's very common.

You probably meant 47 rounds now that I look at it.
It was more like 60. I zeroed the scope with 3 and then shot 10 more foulers since I stripped the barrel clean to foul it a bit before I shot for groups.

The last time I loaded for .243 the 105 Amax was top dog. The 103s and 108s might be it now days I guess.

Yeah. Here are some from my Tikka LITE in 260. No cherry picked groups either. All on one page. ETA: I shoot 5 rd groups. I could cull 2 rounds from lots of the groups I posted earlier and have groups like you just posted.
