We released 100 of them on the ranch about 20 years ago.


Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Not a one. They tried to introduce Pheasant into this area about 40 years ago and had the same results. Varmint's had a field day!

I was hoping the Chuckar's would since I've seen them in similar terrain and environment. Problem with pen raised is they have no instinct for survival and they don't really have that flight thing down. The Chuckar's would jump and fly about 15 to 20 yards and set back down. Anybody whose hunted Chuckar's has seen wild Chuckar's jump and fly a few hundred yards if not farther.
