Zoom is Great. We used to call them Mountain Boomers for some reason.

Neat photo. Saw a few of them in El Paso area as a kid.

I saw one on my place. The turquoise was so bright, my brain could not register if it was real until it bolted.

Sweet picture! I remember grabbing one to only have it grab me back and draw blood. Ouuuch! When your a meat eater it helps to have teeth, they eat smaller lizards for a living.

Awesome pic. That lens, wow
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

I’ve seen one of those down around Balmorhea. First thing I thought of is he must have Eagle eyes! Kind of funny you say that, you're not the first one. When your on this place as much as I am you notice things that are out of place or don't look right. Augustus McCray once talked about how Pea Eye wasn't much of a notice're, he never said that about me. Between looking for critters in the pasture, snakes and always on the look out for arrowheads my eyes stay pretty busy.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Sweet picture! I remember grabbing one to only have it grab me back and draw blood. Ouuuch! When your a meat eater it helps to have teeth, they eat smaller lizards for a living. I see them a lot at the corn bin set up in Webb county.
