Be very, very careful! Any outfitter that contacts you and offers p'dog hunts here in Texas should be willing, able and eager to supply you with references. Call all the references! If you're serious about going on an enjoyable hunt, go to the Dakotas and hunt the reservation land or the ranch land that the owners need help on controlling the populations.

Stuart Ranch in Oklahoma has a few dog towns, I think they run a few hunts a year for them. I used to Quail hunt the place and the dog towns got bigger every year. 30,000 + acre ranch near Waurika, Oklahoma
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

If the outfitter calls it a hunt, it won't be any fun. Find the outfitter, if there are any, that call it a PD shoot. Then you found the right outfitter. That's what I did when looking for an outfitter for Argentina wingshooting. Been back 7 yrs in a row, shooting not hunting!
