If you followed track and field, and the Southwest Conference, in the late 60’s you knew these two.

Great article by Kevin Sherrington. Had no idea about their contributions to the city of Dallas after their days at SMU.

Hope the article is readable....the DMN is so difficult if you aren’t a subscriber.
