x2 I have 20acres of forest, infested with cedar; clearing the cedar- by hand! Keep moving until you can't. Key to health regardless of where it's done.
Grateful for every sunrise and sunset I get to witness. - Jason

Finally got my ABS Crunch Bench in on Monday, Set it up yesterday took about one hour. Now my home gym is complete. Still can't wait to go back to the real gym

I was lucky enough to be able to pick this up from Academy. It's got a spin lock barbell, two spin lock dumbbells, and 110 pounds of plates. It's been working fairly well for me alongside a resistance band for all my training needs, but I can't wait to get back to the gym where I can really begin to workout hard again.

Bicycle...about 7-8 miles 3-4 days a week.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I quit exercising. Now I just cut wood, split wood, clear brush, fill feeders, drag dead pigs, etc. If my tendentious in my ankle will ever heal, I might start running again.

Can't run anymore due to my feet and knees but we get out and walk 2-1/2 miles each morning. Trying to get in al least 10,000 steps every day. Then it is off to the garden, flowerbeds or the 5-1/2 acres we call our yard. I have my Bowflex Revolution in the shop so I can get in my resistance workout in between projects.

I'm totally changing up my hunting. How, where, and what I hunt. Recently received a new backpack and boots so I've started hiking on my elliptical that has iFit. Currently doing a French and Swiss Alps series with 25 pounds in my pack. Once done I'll do the same series again and again but increasing weight. I also have Exo Mountain Gear's backcountry hunting training program. I'll incorporate that once I finish the first round of the Alps.
In addition, I changed my diet and I'm down to low 230s from 250.
My botnet is bigger than yours.

Atomic Athlete (ones that wrote EXO’s plan and are also a Texas company) has a bunch of online specific plans. It’s pretty cheap. And ton of variety. I recently switched it up and started doing brute force sand bag training at home. Something different with a different intensity. If you are plan on hitting the mountain this year, put 40lbs in that pack and go it your feet in shape. 4-5 mikes only a week will make a huge difference.

Thanks for the response.
Backpacking is not new to me but the addition of the hunting angle is. So, I'm learning a lot from various other sites.
I'll be doing a "trial" run Aoudad hunt testing out new and replaced gear and crudely gauging fitness for additional hunts. Next will be Black Bear. If solo I will be going to Frank Church. If I have a partner it will be a Jackson, WY resident who will take me, loosely speaking, somewhere in that neck of the woods.
Anyway, how is the sandbag routine working out? Do you care to share any more specific info about what you're doing?

Ohhhh you are going to love the frank!!!! One of my favorite places in the world. It’s sand bags great for at home, no gym. Short, tough and varies strength with cardio. It’s easier to explain if you Down load the bruteforce training app it’s free. Most work outs are high intensity for about 20 min or less. There is aux work out also if warm up and WOD didn’t hurt enough. Also can submit score so you have future reference.

Usually 5-6 times a week. I either walk 3 miles or ride a recumbent bike 10 miles. Trying to get a little weight off before Dove season.

Started using a TRX suspension system. I’m wobbly as hell doing the core workouts but it will really work you out. I know where I need to work out more.

We have a stationary bike and a tow machine, hare the bike guy love the tow machine. Working on cleaning out the 3rd car garage and that will be the gym. I hate going to gyms, mainly because I can’t get a set schedule, if I 20 minutes I can get a good row in.
We will complete it with a squat rack and dumbbells. Few kettle bells, and sand bags. Right now though, my gym is moving dirt and rocks, I think I’ve managed 22,000 pounds by hand so far since April.

That’s me done with gym, in process of cleaning out garage. And only thing else I want is retractable squat rack and I think I’ll be good.

I have been walking 3 miles per day usually start before sunrise, doing this 7 days per week. I have decided to keep this routine until it gets too cold to walk outside then I will move to a gym.
Work has been busy so I am getting a pretty good workout there as well.

I thought about one of the filing squat racks, but haven’t decided. This project will commence once the backyard project concludes. Going to paint it, put down rubber flooring, add lighting, hang TV, and who knows what else.
