I've seen 3-4 this week. Long, tan, thin- headed (non poisonous). Not agressive, runs away at every encounter. No pictures. Kimble County

Back one into a corner and see if that non aggressive streak don’t come to a screeching halt. Then you’ll know for sure that you’re dealing with a coachwhip.

They might just be my favorite snakes. Had one as a kid that was uncharacteristically docile. I didn’t know that wasn’t normal. My next few encounters chasing them in the wild were quite a surprise.
