That particular chainsaw comes with a 12ah battery and lasts a long time. I don’t remember the bar length or width but, I’ve cut down some pretty large Oak trees, yes it took two batteries to finish the job.

You can take it to the bank. cheers

I'm not good at math but I did take Highschool geometry. You can cut a 16 inch log with an 8 inch saw by cutting from both sides. cheers

I was skeptical even to the point i laughed when a buddy handed me his Kobalt 80 Volt and asked me to cut down some huge Cedars Mesquites and Oaks on his lease. 2.5 Hours later I wasn't laughing anymore. That thing wore my azz out. When I got home I bought one.

I didn't want to go crazy spending a bunch of money on something I don't know anything about so I bought a 40 volt Ryobi with an extra battery and even paid $25 for an extra Home Depot warranty. I know it is going to break. I am going to have my Grandson and one of his friends to cut regrowth cedar and I figured it would be safer than him using my gas powered Stihl. So this will be a real test for Ryobi. We shall see and also see how good advertised warranties are.

The 40 volt Ryobi was the first cordless chainsaw I used and I was very impressed. Since then I’ve seen one stop working, it had been used a bunch though.

I’ve had my Milwaukee cordless chainsaw for over a year now, I am impressed and happy with it.

I think I posted this once before. I have some of the EGO battery powered tools - their blower and hedge trimmer. I've been very impressed with both. A few months ago I purchased their 18" chainsaw. It was a piece of junk and I returned it.

They have used it for 2 days now and so far no problems. I also used it to cut some small cedars. Works very well. The battery lasts way longer than I would have thought. I had bought an extra battery but probably didn't need to.

Plan to be over near Home Depot today, so I will go in and buy a Ryobi.

Had to pass. What a mess. The parking lot was full and there was a line at the door. On the plus side there was a new HEB open in that area, Walmart was fully stacked, and their beer price had gone back down.

I've had the Makita about a year and the batteries outlast me. It uses two of the 18v batteries. It's my first top handle saw and works great for trimming.
