
TML (traditional) & MML (modern)

the T&M are the differance, both load down the muzzle...
Traditional is the sidelock cap & flint lock, & the ever more primative rifles, using goex powder or some of the smokeless powders...
Modern is the in lines, using 205 caps... The powder
is higher grade, (might not be best term), pretty much same powder as the cartrage rifles, without the cartrage...

Blackpowder hunts No in-lines are allowed...
Years ago on WMA had asked about using my BP pistal on a hunt for hogs, during a hunt..
Was told no cause its not loaded down muzzle,

already new that, & explained its BP...
Was told in-lines weren't allowed...
Kinda like the archery deer hunts, crossbow wasnt allowed... They might now be allowed..
Here, majority are using the in-lines, unlike back in the 70's whin hunted with

Couldnt find a .45 my prefured cal. So got a .50 in-line... Me shoulders cant take the beating no more no more...

with in-lines its possable... powder tis biggest differance...
