Anyone have any experience with this weapon?

I am looking for a compact .45, and I liked the feel of the Bersa. I do not want another Springfield XD or Glock, so what else should I consider in that price range ($600 thereabouts or less?)???

The Bersa Thunder .45 can be had for way less than $600. They generally sell for somewhere in the $350 range. I bought my wife a Bersa .380 that has been a good little gun for her. It's accurate and reliable.

I must ask, if yopu have an XD and a Glock why would you be looking at the Thunder .45?

Just looking for something different. The Glock I have is a 9mm. I sold the XD. I am very familiar with the Bersa .380, so I looked into the Bersa Thunder .45. I am aware that I can find one for much less than $600. I am just trying to figure out if there is anything else I should look into without getting into the Kimber Custom, or STI price range.

I have also been looking for a slim carry .45. I thought the glock and xd 45s were too thick. I was considering the millinium. It seems they cost around $400 new.

Do not get the millinium you will kick your self... The trigger pull on it is pain staking.

I like the Kahr CW45. You can find them for about $400 +/-.

I have the Millenium Pro in 9mm and love it- much better than a S&W Sigma. Don't know what you guys are talking about. I'm picking up a Bersa 380 tomorrow for the wife- curious about how it feels in the hand

6+1 (its a pretty small pistol, for a .45).

Just got one recently for $325+tx new at the gun show. Only problem I've had is the extended mag base pinches my pinky between it and the gun base. Not sure how to fix it other than to shoot three fingered or tape my pinky. Another mag might fit different too. Other than that, I like it a lot, good solid feel, eaaaaasssy maintenance, if you've ever owned a Bersa you know the phrase "blindfolded tear down" is capable, after about the first time you've done it.

I traded for a Bersa .380 Thunder earlier this year and couldn't be more pleased with the gun. Can't give any feedback on the .45, but would recommend the .380. The gun is very easy to conceal and Remington has a 102 gr personal defense round in .380. No concerns on my part about being under gunned.
