Getting these pics on my phone is cheating. And I love it. BEFORE....received while in the recliner: AFTER...about 30 minutes later, had to drag it out of the brush:

The cell camera has saved me countless hours of sitting in the blind after dark waiting on hogs.

Sounds like something I could use. How about a little info on the cell camera... name, model, price?
Tks, Wayne

Covert Blackhawk LTE. Verizon service. Don’t recall exactly, but I think the camera itself was about $350. Service I subscribe to is $11.99 for 5000 pics per month. Been using it non-stop for about 1-1/2 years...no problems other than downtime for Covert’s system maintenance and the GPS locate feature is waaaayyyyy off and always has been. Get about 3 weeks out of rechargeable AA’s.

The cell cameras are great and have gotten very cheap. I have 3 Spypoint Micros now, and the last one I bought was only $99. I only pay a fee (40 something/year for 250 pics/month) for the feeder camera. I have the other two set to not take as many pics, so I stay under the 100/month free limit.
One of these free cameras is my security cam in front of my RV at my property 1.5 hours from where I live. I get immediate notification in Houston when there's motion in front of the RV and there's no monthly fee. There's a common 12v jack to hook up a larger 12v battery, which I use for two of the cams, and I have the one by the RV connected to the RV's 12v system. All the pics from all 3 cams come into one app on my phone. Very convenient. The cams have not been perfect, but the issues I have had were resolved by Spypoint support fairly easily.
I actually don't use my feeder cam in immediate mode though, I use a Chamberlain driveway motion sensor which works well up to 1/4 mile. I get an alarm in the RV and can then go out and see if it's a hog, deer or coon.

Tom , sync your cam to portal. It seems to use less battery, it will then show camera name instead of "not set". looks like you are running the 4g version.

glocker, yes it's 4g, but I'm not following you on "portal". Thanks.

When the camera is synced the the server it will have the name you assigned to the cam right next to covert. I think its the left button of the center control buttons that will cause it to "sync to portal" which I believe is the server. After you sync it , it will have better battery life. Mine does that after bad weather sometimes.
I have 3 of the 4gs and 2 old 3 gs running and have kind of worked out the kinks.
