Decided I want to build a new AR in rifle or pistol. 10.5 to 12.5 inch barrel I have been looking at sixfive monster barrel and bolts, does anyone have experience with these?

Get good reports on the Monster barrels and bolts. Not Lilja or Bartlein but good for the price. I would go 12.5 inch with the Grendel. That is for the Monster barrels on the Grendel forum group buys

Right now they have the 12 inch barrel for 133 and the bolt for 55 I'm thinking it migt be a good budget build

I’ll make you a good deal on an Odin works 12.5” and gas block and tube That’s the one you need ^^. I currently run a Faxon 12”, and built a buddy one with a Ballstic Advantage 12.5”. They were only used with thermal scopes for hog hunting so can’t really vouch for their accuracy on paper but they’ve both killed alot of pigs and coyotes. I’d also recommend a linear comp of some of some sort unless you’re running suppressed as its noticeably louder/more concussive than 223

I have been understanding most shoot well to 600 yds. I have an ar with a 20 inch shilen barrel that shoots lights out as well as a howa that does the same. o what can be expeted of
the 12 inch set up?

I’m still wanting to make my Grendel an SBR. I’ve heard the 12.5 barrel is still unpleasant even with a suppressor, any truth to this?
