I think I found an answer to my bino harness needs and pistol carrying needs. Often when hunting I wear overalls, that leaves me with either no sidearm or one stuck in a pocket where it isn’t really comfortable. Now Eberlestock has a bino harness that will also hold a pistol.
Before I drop $130 on this, is everybody happy with the quality of their Eberlestock packs?

Cant help you with Eberlestock but curious, do you not wear any kind of belt outside your overalls? Ive got so much stuff on my belt ive been called Batman by my hunting friends.

I have tried. It slips too much for me. If the overalls had belt loops it would be perfect.

Haven’t used nose gunner but do the same thing with FHF and Alaska Guide Cub max.
They are both tight with P320 carry/subcompact but 365 fits well
I’ll look into those too. It would be either Sig P320 Carry or a Judge.

I thought about getting a left draw kydex and screwing it into the back.
I had my 340 in my AGC via the bino area two years ago when I got into a particular issue with a Mountain Lion, hindsight thats not in a very accessible location.
Thinking about just going to a kenai chest holster

I use an inexpensive inside the belt holster slid into the back of my Badlands bino pack to hold my S&W 686 357. I am at my Rhode Island home now and the 357 is stored in my SIL's gun safe (for when I hunt in Texas) so no photo with the pistol. I load mine with 3 snake shots first & might replace it with a 38 Special that weighs less if I can find one that fits my hand as well as the 686.

My buddy has one of those and likes it, but has complained about the top of the harness being hot. I like the idea of having everything contained, but having carried a sidearm for so long in the same holster, drawing it quickly is now second nature for me so I'm reticent to change locations. I do love my bino harness setup (mine's a Marsupial with the extra pouch for the rangefinder and I added a 3rd party pouch for a FLIR monocular), they're great for spot-and-stalk and stays relatively quiet.
