Looking for a reputable source to have a Tikka .308 shortened and threaded - and likely cerakoted while I’m at it. I’m located up near Lake Fork if proximity helps with your recommendation. Have an AimPoint 9000L that’s going on it with the intentions of having a light and quick fairly short ranged rifle in the end.

For threading, Morgan at class 3 machining can get you fixed up. He did a T3x lite SS in 243 for me.

Not sure best source of cerakote, but I used HRH combat arms in Arlington for a couple things that turned out good.

If you want a one stop shop I’ve had rifles threaded by Long rifles inc in SD, they do cerakote as well. Shipping both ways may be little pricey. John Trammel in Breckenridge is a great riflesmith and has threaded a few tikkas for me, as well as cerakoted one complete rifle. His work is great, pretty sure that one was the best cerakote job I’ve had.

Is that a Mesa Precision drop in stock? Been looking at those.

They have a new paint guy, he's really good. As far as I know Alamo is still working building rifle but closed to the public.
