Found this rattler and two bull snakes sunning next to the house. We may be making a dent in them. This time of year the first warm day is usually a 10 rattler day. At least a hundred killed in the last 10 years leaving their den under the house. I have an interest in buying some hunting property out Fisher county. A friend has a place where he has never seen a rattlesnake. Another friend of his, several miles apart, kills up to 10 of them every season. What is it really like? Is it possible, if the den is eradicated, we may get to the point where we would rarely see them? Or just forget it as out that way will never be free of rattlesnakes. I hunt with small dogs, beagles, and a Western Diamondback would kill quickly. Sad, but the truth. Anyone have advice, please share.
