I got over 50 orders on my website and by phone in 3 days time last week. There's no way I can process the shipments in several days time. I emailed my customers and notified them of an ETA and almost all were fine with that and thankful for the update. A larger retailer would easily be overwhelmed with orders. So, I don't see the correlation on a long shipping time due to an insane amount of orders makes someone less reputable.

i Would hate to see the backlog at the big box stores. My hunting buddy called me to make sure I had turkey loads as those were gone too.

There is a run on supplies. It’s going to take time for processing orders and resupply. And don’t forget there is a virus going around that is slowly some places down as well.

Your best bet imo is to barter. I needed a particular type of bullet and had some extra of another time so found someone to trade.
