I am looking to build a hog trap or two. I would like it pretty simple and inexpensive. How should I build it?

Do you want it to be portable or will it be semi-premanent?

Here's a general idea: http://www.limestonemedia.com/how-to-plans/wild-hog-trap-plans.htm

I built one using old bed frames for angle iron. I used a 'French Door' design because it gives a wide opening that doesn't extend too far into the trap. Door type is primarily a personal preference.

At this stage it's almost finished. Part of the top and the mesh on the doors are yet to be put into place, and it has no trigger mechanism.

Inexpensive is hard. New panels and new angle are expensive. This one was almost $300. 10' x 6' x 5' high..... guillotine door, open bottom, partial open top for deer escape, rooter type trigger. Sorry for the poor photo. [Linked Image]

This one didn't take much more material than a regular trap as it has no top or bottom. The big door helps get pigs inside. It comes apart and stacks in the back of the truck like plywood
