Got my refund in February. How do you get a refund when you're retired? He’s likely got other forms of income such as stocks that he has to report on. Nailed it. RMD is the biggest. Its taxable and I have them to withhold 25 % just where my tax refund will pay my property taxes

Let's move it to NEVER AGAIN. I don't think the fed can survive this virus, so no need to keep their collection agency around either.

Got my refund in February. Me too. Drop off required docs at accountant write them a check and refund is direct deposited a few weeks later.

Sadly the IRS has to stick in all the working folks rear ends when it come to working and paying taxes. It's the free loader and others who work and don't pay taxes that get out smelling like a rose..

Please do your best to keep the bickering down to a minimum and focus on helping and supporting one another any way you can. Kind words go a long way. We are a community and have always risen to the challenge when we find our members in need.
A lot of y’all will have stress. Please try and look here for
support and try not to take out your problems on fellow members. Tempers will be short at times and that is understandable, but just take a deep breath before you respond in anger and remember that you may be talking to someone who just lost their job, is stressed financially, or both.
