I've got a small leak on a tractor tire, what the best sealer to use? I've used Slime for ATV's and seems to work fine, just wondering if there is something better. Thanks.

Get a plugging kilt to help the slime. You can put a little screw on there depending on the location of the puncture.

I used to use Slime in my ATV/UTV's in mesquite country hunting. I still had to occasionally add air . Then I discovered Tire-Ject a couple of years ago and I haven't had to add air since. I am very impressed with it.

I use Slime, a gallon in rears and 1/2 gallon in fronts, small 25hp tractor. They say there are better ones to use but price wise, Slime may be the best deal. I shred cactus and mesquite and has held up for me.

There are lot of tire sealants much more effective than slime.
To name a few;
Power Sports puncture seal < — what I use in tractors, atv, utv, ztr, off road trailers etc. Tx made.
TireJect
Ultraseal extreme or bullet proof grade
Multiseal pro hd or armor 3500
LiquiTube extreme
Genseal
IMI
Berrymans
Most sealants are made by one of the few manufacturers then color dyed and relabeled / rebranded to their wholesale customer requirements.
That includes many of the ' specialty ' atv / utv & super heavy industrial use sealants.

Well Bill, Lemmy try to splain it to you. Over the last 40+ years I have owned and still do own quite a few vehicles with tires that need tire sealer in use from Wa, Or, Ca, Az, Nm, Co, Ok, Tx, La & Ark. When I needed it, myself or a coworker bought the 'best' available locally, cuz we needed it right then. Over time Ive used a bunch more than I listed, those few I listed are some I have experience with that I know I/we had very good results using. Hope that clears it up for ya.
