I'm not going this weekend. I don't have dope plus my wife is a nurse and I can't risk getting infected and passing it on to her.

Yea Tim got your email last night.
If the shoot doesn’t happen or is postponed the guys that have registered will be refunded or just carried over to the new match. Range owner is still a go at the moment. But stuff can change.

Ok. I'm signed up but I won't be attending so if you can forward my entry to a later match great. Or if I forfeit it, I'll live.

I would love to be there again but I’ve got a 2 year old and prego wife at home. I’ll be back once this all settles. I hope everyone is staying healthy!

I just found this match info and read through the entire thread. Got really interested in it then saw all of the talk about mil dot, dope, etc. Saw some of the rifle and scope set ups and man, some of y’all are serious about this. I’m just an old country boy that shoots turtles, rocks, and punches some paper for fun with my .22. Just bought a plain Jane S&W M&P 15-22 and a regular scope that I haven’t even fired yet. Y’all got me scared already. But I’ll try to get out and give it a go just for fun and to meet everyone. Worst I can do is last place and enjoy burning up some ammo. Sounds like everyone had a good time.

I have an idea that i got from my Nephew. He is on the HS Bass fishing team, and they can not complete in tournaments. What they are doing is online tournaments. They fish, catch fish, and take a photo of it on the scale. Why couldn't we do something like that here? Send out a course of fire (all paper targets). You must shoot them at the designated distances in designated stance (prone, kneeling, bench, offhand), and send the photos in. Any interest?

My father-in-law has serious respiratory issues, and we have frequent contact with him. I can not risk passing anything to him.

Sorry to hear that, don't think the virtual shooting match would work with the money payouts. I feel like we'd have several people shooting perfect scores LOL.

Oh, I wasn't thinking cash payouts, just something fun to do to pass the time. Oh gotcha. I'm sure there are a lot of people with cabin fever at the moment and would like to get out and go shoot something. We'll be outside, run what you brung (don't use other's gear), and a little social distancing we'll be fine.

Andy B here. Only guy to show up with an AR at the inaugural shoot. I've been lurking waiting to see if there's been any updates. I'm in for the 25th! Any possibility of getting a practice in or a chance to check DOPE before the shoot? I got a new scope and local range only goes 50-100-300-400yrds.If not, I'll make due. I just want to shoot.

We'll have a range day for the next one though, I know that doesn't help you any at the moment though.

Just got off the phone with Vesperman Sr. and we're going to have a range day this saturday the 18th for those that want to come out. If you were a registered shooter from the last match you probably just got an email from "no reply". Please look at the email for further instructions. Range day will be from 9am-12pmThanks

Hey, Kyle, while we were practicing yesterday it was suggested that the course of fire may change before we shoot... could you please make sure we have the true course of fire a day or 2 ahead of time. Thanks.
