If you were to take a formal class of wildlife and management, What topics would you like to see during the course?

TX AG used to have a program called Deer 101. It was pretty good. Gave you a big old binder and the course covered lots of bases.

Are you asking to take one somewhere or put one together to give?

Graduated from TAMU-Kingsville with a Wildlife Managment degree. Great program, exciting courses, but the main question is what will you do with the degree?

Look at SFA. I think they have various wildlife related majors and courses.
And of course Dr. Deer (James Kroll) is on faculty there.

To me the hardest part is knowing what your working with and what the land will support. Surveying techniques and procedures and habitat would be tops.

TAMU has a fisheries mgt. program. However, there are more grads than jobs.

The psychology and sociology of hunting. And I'd like to teach it! We know ALOT about biology and ecology and I hope add to it more how to implement those things with individuals and communities on a broader scale. I am hopeful and excited that we are slowly headed in that direction more and more.
