Remembering old show’s, remember “ Rat Patrol “, from when I was young as well, would like to see some reruns of that one as well! Rat patrol! I remember the Jeep with a machine gun mounted in the back. Rat Patrol was based on a real life outfit in WWII called Sterlings Desert Raiders. They did have 50 cals on the Jeeps, but they were actually mounted to each front fender and you aimed them by aiming the whole Jeep. They were pretty effective at keeping the Germans nervous and confused, but I don't think they inflicted much real damage.
