Reminds me of a time my friend Ron and I were hunting quail and got caught in a driving rain. We were soaked, came back to the motel and changed our clothes. We took the wet clothes to the laundromat. Someone stole our clothes. I went back later and the clothes were folded and stacked.

Used to be a place at A&M called the Scrub Pub. A laundry mat with a bar so you could have a couple while you wait. It was genius!

There's pretty good money in the laundry business in the right local...and if you are handy.

“Washateria”

Another name for a laundromat, the term “washateria” originated in Fort Worth, Texas, after Noah Brannen opened the first self-service laundry facility in 1936.

I just...…...bare.......ly do believe this...…..

But then, I had a car stolen once...… I eventually found it.....
The thief, had washed,...…. and detailed it.... Had the oil changed...…..
The tires rotated...… And even polished my old hunting boots, in the back seat....

I had to go to one in Denver last year. First time in 30 years.
