You get what you pay for. I'd immediately thoroughly clean and oil the pistol before shooting it. The trigger pull is longer than my M&P Shield 9mm, but it isn't too bad. I like to refer to it as "You better mean to pull the trigger if it's gonna fire." Overall, it's not a bad gun at all. Seems reliable for my dad, it just needs about 500 rounds through it like any other pistol to break it in. We got it for my dad when Academy had a special on it this Christmas season, where it was discounted, included a red Viridian laser, and came with a free Heritage Rough Rider .22LR six-shot revolver.

I have 2 of them and like them very much. I use them as a truck gun or boat gun, a little big for a carry gun for me. Once you get used to the trigger it isn't bad at all.

Have a g2c with about 400 rounds through it. Second round I got a fte (probably poor grip) and no malfunctions since. Groupings aren’t great at 7 yards. But I just put a $30 “keep tinkering” trigger in it that is a HUGE improvement, and I expect that to help significantly. I hate the factory trigger. If the new trigger shrinks the groups, it’ll be my daily carry gun. Unless I sell it to buy a glock 19 or HK vp9sk. I’m toying with that idea.

Also, don’t pay $249. They go on sale on different websites every day it seems. I bought mine last month from academy for $179 or $189

It's not what you say, or think, that counts. It is what you DO!

I've had one for a couple of years, and 5-600 rounds through it of all types. It's like that Bunny: it just keeps on. I was concerned initially about the Taurus reputation on their pistols, but mine has been reliable to the point that I no longer think about it. It has become my carry piece. The first trigger pull with a new magazine is rather long, but then breaks cleanly and the reset on follow-up shots is short and predictable. At the current price point, you can't beat it, imho.

I replaced my factory trigger with a “keep tinkering” trigger. It’s nice. It removes the double action and restrike, puts the trigger shoe at a much better place, and makes the feel much nicer. It was $30

I bought mine from a coworker. I keep it in the door of truck and carry it often. I haven't had any issues with it thus far. I have had mine for 2 years + now and shot several hundred rounds through it. I dont find the trigger that bad. I prefer it over a shield. The grip is comfortable and easily concealable for being a double stack. Mine doesn't like 124gr bullets very much, it throws them to the left. But there are many factors with that, They are my reloads for one, and I might be pushing the gun when I squeeze the trigger. but the reloads are consistently to the left. For the price, I don't think you good ask for a better gun. Definitely wait for them to go on sale. You should be able to pick one up for less than $200. They are +P rated as well.

I didn’t mind the weight, or the break, it’s the position at which it breaks. It’s all the way at the back of the trigger guard for me, that placement made it really difficult to shoot well. The new trigger is shaped so that your finger is farther forward in the trigger guard when it breaks.

I have two G2 and p365. Think I’m Over 600 rd’s in one of g2’s w/zero issues

No issues with the G2 outs side trigger not being my favorite. It’s larger then the P365 so I wouldn’t compare it to it.

I didn’t pay over 200 for either of my g2’s
