I’m looking for ideas, thoughts, and or examples of feeders that are deer proof to bait hogs. I want to set up a feeder specifically to hunt hogs at night. I would like it to feed off a timer like a regular deer feeder to make it easier to pattern hogs as opposed to free choice. I would also like it to be deer proof so I could let it run throughout deer season without deer being able to come to it all night and making daytime feeders less effective than they already are where I hunt. When it’s not deer season I’m not opposed to using an existing feeder set to go off at night, however I think it would be fun to have a set up specifically to shoot hogs. Thanks In advance for any input!

As DNS said, a pig pipe is generally a good "pig only" device. I don't care for them as they don't last more than a night or two if you have hogs. If you really want to make it deer proof, take some cattle panels and install them on T-Posts 18"-24" off the ground. Too tall to dissuade most deer from wanting to try jumping in.

I have a deer pen maybe 30-40 yards from my hog pen. Deer pen panels are on the ground to keep hogs/cows out. Hog pen has shorter panels raised to let hogs in, but keep cows out. Even though deer can easily hop in, rarely do they do so.
