Still a big pig. Shot this guy Saturday morning while I was trying to get a doe. Came out right at first light, all I could make out was a silhouette. I normally try and shoot them where they’ll run off away from the feeder but this guy dropped in his tracks. Ranch record is 291#. He was 231#. Huge pig. I don't load 'em any more. 'Like the goatie. The wife said "nyet" on letting mine grow out like that. She did see your pic and comment "it's heavier than you!" (By a ...very few pounds.  ) Well done young man.

Thanks, I keep thinking I am going to wake up one morning and my beard will be gone. My wife doesn't care for it much either. I have a "pulley" system on the mule that I use when I am by myself to load animals with using the dump bed, it was still a chore loading this one. I should have used the tractor, but I was too lazy to go get it.

To me the most impressive things about it are the color and the coat. Very nice looking hog (as hogs go).
