I don't know if luck was on my side, or what.. in the past few weeks I found at LGS's an SKB Ithaca 600 O/U Trap gun, and today a early 90's SKB 885 "Target" O/U. The 600 has fixed chokes, full and IM. The 885 came with 7 Seminole brand extended chokes, with two pair of Skeet and IC. I like the looks of this, and while they were not high end shotguns, I think they look like they are lol. Here is a pic of the 885: Adding in what would be the case and chokes cost, it was a pretty good deal So who else would like to share their SKB pics and stories ?

I’m a big fan. A guy let me shoot a round of skeet with his one time and it fit me like a glove. They lock up real solid and I really like the look of them. That one you have is beautiful!

The best pointing shotgun I ever shouldered was an SKB 600. Like the idiot kid I was in my 20s, I sold it for something I no longer have. It was hard to miss birds using it. So yeah, I’m a fan. 😎

Great to know so many smart hunters like SKB Shot sporting clays with it today, shots better than I can.. so like it a lot. However it does not want to eject the low cost, non-brass base shells. Win. AA’s, no problem. So a little work needed on it. Hopefully can get it to use the Low dollar shells.

Nothing wrong with the gun , it's the cheap metal expanding when hot.

I have heard of even way more expensive guns having the shell stick on occasion...as well as the current crop of 870 expresses. Well, I used a proper - bright light into the chamber, overhead light..uggh not enough. I could see rust oxidation in the chamber .. so worked on cleaning that up. Hope to test the results this evening or tomorrow evening. Need to be able to use $5 box shells for practice.
