Not me, but a buddy had a nest in one of his blinds. He found out when he opened the door and had an owl fly out over his head. He fell backward off the ladder, but luckily nothing broken. Said the smell of his blind was actually worse than the smell of the pants he had ...stained.

Haven't experienced an owl in one yet-- but a few years ago in Oklahoma we left a duck blind to jump shoot some spots... when we can back there was a massive hawk in the blind picking apart some ducks on our stringer!

Have had the owls take over a old box blind . Decided to let them let them have it & raise rat killers !!!
Still may need to clean out every several years ...

Haven't experienced an owl in one yet-- but a few years ago in Oklahoma we left a duck blind to jump shoot some spots... when we can back there was a massive hawk in the blind picking apart some ducks on our stringer! Pheasant hunting in Montana, I knocked one down and it was still slightly mobile and trying to get under some bushes when a Hawk comes swooping down and grabs it. I said "oh no you don't" and tried to get it back but he would raise up at me and scream and drag the pheasant backwards into the brush. Finally, I let him have it but that was when I hunted for the food and really wanted that pheasant. You win some you lose some.

The rubber mat made it relatively easy for me to take it all about by taking the rubber mat out!

Same issue, and rubber mat saved the day in terms of cleaning it out!
