What do you guys use to keep your powder dry in this rainy weather on an inline ?? Might still be raining when I head out in the morning to hunt. I have one last chance to get my unbranched and my doe.

Will a balloon work over the muzzle ??? Can you just shoot through it or do you have to take it off ??

I've seen barrel plugs online and Cabela's sells what looks like small balloons. I use sabot rounds and haven't put much thought into it. I'd say just keep your barrel pointed down.

You can use a balloon or electrical tape over the end of the barrel and you can shoot through either.

Balloons, and for the flintlock also have a leather cover that fits over the lock.

We have used finger cots for the muzzle with good results. The rush of air blows it off before the bullet gets there.
