i am not sure how I feel about summit stands... i would think the stirrups would cut down on standing room. the straps fall out of the way. In my opinion i would rate the stand on comforts related to being in the stand and not so much climbing. I guess you spend more time in the stand than climbing. I guess it is what you are used to using... my buddy has a summit and complains that it (cables) squeeks when used on smaller trees. I wonder if anyone else has had problems with summit stands being noisy. I love my quiet API Extreme bowhunter and the harness it comes with is really easy to get into and use... not trying to pee in your cheerios... just trying to get some meaningful discussion going. I really wish I had saved my money and gotten the lone wolf...

Just bought a Summit climber. Great stand, Light (15 #), comfortable and quiet. All I need.

A couple of years ago I purchased a Summit Bullet Backpacker and dearly loved that stand. It is about as comfortable and quiet as you could ask for. You could definately do an all day hunt with one. I had to sell it early in the year due to financial reasons, but I just bought a new Broadhead backpacker by Summit and will be using it soon. Since I am only bowhunting now, I felt the broadhead backpacker would be better.

Summit makes absolutely GREAT stands. My opinion is that Lone Wolf is overpriced for what you get. Granted, they are noce stands, but no nicer than the Summit line. JMHO.

Tree Loungers are great...unless you plan to move it on a regular basis. Heavy and loud to setup. I've been there done that!
