I am a baby boomer dad. Conservative mindset . My daughter is a recent married and mother millennial . I raised her how I was raised basically to be a responsible citizen , not to be a burden to society, know right from wrong, and follow the basics of the Bible. She started college and my daughter started to change to a typical millennial. A liberal mindset. Greatly different from what I raised her on. However she did well in college and got her degree . Got
Married and had twins. When she was pregnant she started talking about raising her kids how she was raised with a conservative mindset. Kids were born and she continues to raise them how she was raised.

I raised my millennial son as conservative. No ultra right but solid Republican. He went to Texas Tech. He wasn't conflicted with a bunch of liberal professors so he is still on the “right” track. Owns a home @ 25 years old with a career path in MIS.

colleges have turned into something else entirely, basically taken over by the commies. A parents job is harder than ever.

Somehow becoming a parent changes you.

Most everyone I associate with is a millennial save a few Gen-Xers. They all work, pay taxes and participate in society in a meaningful way. Don't trust the liberal media.

It is the conservative media that bashes the millennials.

It did not work on my nephew. He went to school for about 10 years on his parents dime and now he is part of the problem with Academia since he teaches at a university after getting his doctorate.

TCU, and her journalism major boy friend, now husband, brainwashed my oldest daughter. I doubt she'll ever get pregnant. Partly fear, partly not wanting to overpopulate the world, partly (probably a big part) just selfishness. She's the breadwinner and he's turning into the "consultant" that all the jokes are about. 'Pretty sure he's just waiting for us to die so he can continue living in his ivory tower and expound on how everyone should ask him how to do things.

I love her dearly. She tries to act like she's happy. I don't think she is.

There is nothing wrong with someone not having kids. There is something wrong about thinking someone has to or needs to have kids.

Colleges are just an extension of the liberal media now.

Give kids a foundation they can return to after they finish sewing their oats. When I went to college I went waaay off the reservation. I returned to my conservative roots when I got married and had kids.

When our kids were looking at colleges we told them we would pay for any in Texas except UT Austin.

That's a proud Dad moment for sure.
