Thinking of building up my Gen4 Glock 19 into a “Gucci Glock”.
Wondering if they’re really worth it. For those of you have a ZEV, Agency, Salient, Taran Tactical ect.
I do not have the money to drop on one of these of course but was thinking of throwing $400-$500 at my existing Glock and get as close as possible.
Is there really that much difference from the regular old Glock? Really want to get it stippled because it fits my hand better especially with the undercut. Then would like to get my slide milled out for a future RMR possibly and of course the windows so you can see my Titanium Nitride barrel shining through lol.
Not for me...I don't get the allure of a mega expensive Glock. I mean I AM a Glock guy (and 1911 and just about everything)...but if you put $2k into it at it's heart it's still a $400 Glock and won't do anything I can't do with one of mine. IF I were to spend the money, it would have to be on a Taran Tactical because I'm a John Wick kinda guy. Now I suppose the same logic could apply to 1911's of which I do have a $2k Les Baer so hell I can't explain nothing...

I upgraded my Gen 4. No regret's, however I knew going in I would never sell it. The stipple job changed the grip angle. For the better. Don't focus on getting everything done in a short time span.
Drag it out.
Kinda like our kid's, when it comes to formula, diaper's and braces, the expense amount fades, but the smiles remain.

Nothing too fancy....It was a DTech Tac 20 upper with an A2 stocked lower that I had built quite a few years ago and haven't shot in a couple years. The guy that traded had watched/filmed me shooting 10 coyotes in one day and had been lusting over it I guess. He was over here and I helped him load some ammo for a new .223 he bought and he asked about it and showed me the pistol and done deal. Here is picture with rifle in it from a coyote hunt in Montana.

Hell of a trade, if you decide you don’t want it I’ll trade you an AR back for it LOL.
I walked away from 1911s in favor of Glocks, partly to get away from that Gucci aspect.
I appreciate the out of the box utility Glocks offer, so the only mods I make are maybe a different trigger connector or sights, and an extended slide release.

Have fun and share photos.
I upgrade all my Glocks with magpul magwells, ghost connectors, night sights, and extended slide release. So all of that has already been done. I do have my G34 Competition gun stippled and the undercuts made to the trigger guard and it just fits my hand way better than the stock Glocks do.

That’s what I’m wondering, probably not, probably just for looks really.
