I say keep the starters in for at least the 3rd qtr. 3 more TD's and then rest them. They deserve to have some fun!

OU is down 5 TDs at halftime.
LSU can do what they want. The probably could kneel every play and still win.

Aside from the @ss kicking on the field, LSU has about 150yds of uncalled penalties. They hold worse than I’ve ever seen on both sides of the ball Zero U holds more than any other division one team. I have seen several no calls done by Zero u but not by LSU.
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

Ou defense is depleted, suspended, injured and ejected and they suck harder than a Hoover vacuum. This is more about a terrible defense than a good offense. Don’t get me wrong, LSU is exploiting them, but come on, I think 4-5 of those td throws were to guys simply wide open. The last one the guy was 10 yards away from anyone and they started at the 2....
Offensively OU got away from what worked. They can run at will against LSU and they insist on throwing the deep ball. Trick plays that don’t work, their play calls are atrocious. They are beating themselves more than LSU defense is stopping them.
On the flip side, whoever LSU faces next will give much more competition. The defense will be light years better and both osu and Clemson can run the ball as well as throw it. Gonna give the LSU defense fits. Yes, LSU will score, but so will the other team. The natty will be a good game to watch.
And hopefully they will have refs that actually throw flags when needed. LSU has gotten away with numerous holds, a punch/slap to the helmet, blatant PI, a hit on the qb clearly out of bounds, a sack where the defender hit the qb helmet...that’s a lot of misses for a “excellent” ACC crew. Many of these penalties came before it was a blow Out too. Dont think they change the final outcome, but they def make it a more interesting game.

I have seen several no calls done by Zero u but not by LSU. It’s funny because I see it both ways. Lots of uncalled holds both ways, but they finally started calling them on OU after the killing was on. But, to say LSU has had none, well you just aren’t watching then. Every play there is an ou guy that is held. Every play.

LSU can do what they want. The probably could kneel every play and still win. I honestly believe they could kneel every possession and ou still wouldn’t score enough to win. They would try to get too fancy and just end up turning the ball over interceptions and sacks. They need to run, run and run. When LSU makes adjustments then start throwing. Hurts has been off like crazy this game. Nothing about LSU defense enforcing his bad throws. He is just off. Almost playing like he knew they had no chance and just going through the motions.

I’m not saying Alabama is a top 4 team. Just that it would be a better game than this. I concur. Couldn't be any worse.

Big12 exposed again. Maybe conference champs don’t mean anything after all.

You often posted that you were the selection committee. How in my whole wide world did you choose OU? Bill is all about politics...who else were we going to put in? Alabama without their qb and no conference title? A beat up Georgia team that got killed in their championship title loss? The south wouldn’t have us putting a Wisconsin team that just gave up a 21 point lead. And there were no semi-worthy contenders from pac or acc...our hands were tied. In all seriousness, this is exposing the weakness of the big12 in that Lincoln Riley is not a great coach, he has just rode the wave of a really weak big12 since he took over. I know his job isn’t in jeopardy yet, but he is looking more like jim harbaugh by the minute...

Yup. Big12 exposes again. Never won a playoff game. Second year in a row they have trailed by over 4 TDS.
Might as well put in a UCF.

Might as well put in a UCF. Stupid narrative, they’ve deserved to be there every time, just dot have the o and d lines to compete with an inept QB like hurts

You’re watching a stupid narrative. 56 to 21. 49 points scored in first half by LSU.
Almost any option is better than this.

We need a bigger playoff. There are clearly better teams out there than ou, but because the system only has 4 teams allowed it’s all about keeping certain conferences happy.
Looking back for the five years of playoffs, the semi final has been a blow out way too much. This is not a good system. Yes better than the popularity contest the bcs was and whatever people called the prior system (other than a joke) but we need more teams in the playoff. Clearly a lot of teams would do better than ou has today

It doesn’t, but it allows more teams to have a chance. Like a Wisconsin, or penn st, or bama, or someone else....
Having to pick only four limits the available competition and makes for a weak field of teams when a conference champ needs represented from a weak conference

There is no reason to expand the playoff and this game shows why. There are 3 good teams in college football this year, more than some other years. Expanding the playoff would be more meaningless games with teams that can’t win the championship.

Just stop right there. This is about the best team in the nation. Not some 2nd tier team winning on a hail Mary and.the best team losing a QB to a groin injury.
