We did not have much turkey left over, it was gone late Christmas day. I did have some brisket yesterday and today that came from Christmas day.

Left at least 10 lbs of brisket and pulled pork at work for the crews coming on this morning. Had all I could stand. Currently choking down McDonald’s with the grandkids before we take them home.

We had turkey and ham for Christmas. I only ate ham.

No ham. I am not Jewish, but I only like it at Easter.

Only bite of turkey I've had was when I was breaking some pieces up for the baby girl to eat. I'm not a turkey fan.
I've still got some rib roast left in the fridge that I'll probably make a sandwich tomorrow. And yes Bill, I served it with horseradish. Also considering slicing some off tomorrow morning for some steak and eggs.

Not a bit of turkey this season,,,,However, made a stop at Brookshires this am, saw a 13lb Fresh turkey . orig price $25.57 , marked down to $6.26, grabbed it, went home and oven baked it, lots of human/dog snacks there.

No turkey at my house for Thanksgiving (ham) or Christmas (smoked brisket). Not a big turkey eater. I am going to have to vacuum seal and freeze some of the brisket. Smoked a 10 pounder, and we have only gotten through a little over half.

The wife and I did something different last night that turned out great. We took the left over bones from the Prime Rib we did for Xmas and trimmed off all the rib meat, chopped it up and used it to top some baked “smashed Red Potatoes”. Kind of like a BBQ stuffed baked potato and I added a bit of sour cream, chopped onion and some jalapeño.
Dang tasty and a new use for the rib meat.

We smoke Cornish game hens for each person at Christmas. Tasty and a little different from Turkey.
