On the suggestion of a viewer and with the help of Chad at Custom Reloads of Dallas, I have been shooting Speer Gold Dots into hogs. All in all, I am very pleased with the performance. Chad's ammo is accurate from my rifle and the Gold Dots (when recovered) tend to hold together very well, have high weight retention, and seem to expand well. Here are my two most recent hunts using them...

What caliber are you shooting?
I've used a lot of 150gr GDs in my 300 HAM'R with very good success

What caliber are you shooting?
I've used a lot of 150gr GDs in my 300 HAM'R with very good success this was listed at the video ending. 6.5 grendel, 18" barrel, 120 gr GD's, 2518 fps muzzle edit: I may need to look at the GD's abit further. They shroomed out nicely. I did however expect these animals to drop like a rock.
