Blue Bell used to make a special batch of Egg Nog ice cream during the holidays that had alcohol in it. They didn’t sell it but instead gave it out to select customers. Man that was some fine ice cream.

I read this and sent my daughter to the store. I couldn’t tell if I like it or not. But did scrape a top layer off.

Tastes too fake to me.

I do so as well. Last week the wife had an outstanding apple pie she made, and the BB Homemade Vanilla melting over it was excellent. That reminds me, I need to tell her to make another one.

I will stick with vanilla over cookie crumbs. Any kind of cookie is okay, but crumbled oatmeal and sugar cookies are mmy favorite.

I make it to the grocery once a week and make a point to go look for 'Made in the Shade' at the Blue Bell section. Their finest flavor - it is a chocolate ripple X100. I wish they would bring it back.
